Town of Highland Republicans

Q: Utilizing only mailing, databasing, and graphic design, how do you help a team of politicians get elected?

A: First, consider the team a company or organization. The message of an organization is "what sells to people", and knowing that repetition makes an impression, we aligned their message, content, and appearance. Their branding became a team, just as they were. In this way, each candidate's look & feel, by being similar to one another, were in turn helping each other candidate to get elected. Instead of one candidate running for an election, or six people running with different material, the similarity of their message associated each one with each other one, allowing them that much more exposure.

Result: All but one of the candidates were elected.

New Paltz PBA

Q: How do you raise funds without appearing to tax the local population?

A: Simplify the message. Don't try to guilt people into donating, and don't pester. Be straightforward in what you're asking for, and be honest and thorough in defining what you're all about. People will appreciate your brevity. Along with that, expanding their database range helped to reach more people. We made PBA windshield decals and used a simple envelope mailing to get the word out.

Result: We helped double the endowment of the New Paltz PBA.

Environmental Forest Products

Q: How do you get the word out about a company and help raise its revenue and work?

A: We saved them money by cleaning their database listing and targeting only potentially relevant households. We helped give them a unified branding, so that their business cards, envelopes, letterhead, any stationary, and website carried the same general tone. Further, getting special bulk-rate postage saved them even more.

Result: Environmental Forest Products actually had to halt a mailing and stop promotional material because their supply of work cannot meet the demand asked of them.
